Takin' a Byte Out of Blogs!

The first Lunch Byte of the year was held Thursday, January 26, 2006. Participants had the opportunity to see both personal and work-related examples of blogs, as well as create their own. It was exciting to see staff in a creative mode!!

Blogs are a way of sharing information, stories, and pictures over the Internet. The beauty about this medium is the ability to publish your information without knowing any type of “code”.

Participants used a free site called Blogger (www.blogger.com).

Prizes were given to the first 2 personal blogs emailed to me (meaningful ones), and to the first 2 department/work related blogs. Those winning Subway gift certificates include Sara Olmsted, Gail Kline, Chris Wilson and Brent Phillips!
