BlackBoard vs Moodle + a shout for HELP!

Today, Cathy and I attended a BlackBoard training workshop. We learned alot but like most people, we're wondering if we'll remember half of what we learned tomorrow. Both of us had utilized BlackBoard as students in past college courses, but we hadn't utilized as an instructor.

I like the concept of having the ability to create a variety of tests thru BlackBoard and have the computer tell a student if his answer is right or wrong. However, I'm not sure I like the idea of "canned" tests that can be bought to work with this program.

We came back and tried out our newfound knowledge. We knew we were in trouble when supposedly there was a "cartridge" installed for our course but we couldn't (and haven't) figured out how to choose different test questions than the ones already programmed for a particular test!! Frustration, Frustration, Frustration!!!

I wonder what the difference between this program and Moodle is? Does anyone know??

By the way, can anyone tell me how to create a fill and print form in Adobe Acrobat 6 Professional? We're just learning!! So much to do, so little time.

Anyway, they say learning is a life-long process!!
